CONNELLY F1 (TOURNAMENT SERIES) The F1 has quietly been dominating the tournament scene for years. Although it is hard to improve upon perfection we somehow
managed. The 07 F1 features a re-engineered flex pattern that helps the turn yet does not sacrifice any speed out of the turn. Some of the best slalom skiers in the world choose the F1 based on how well it skis. One
of the secrets is a large sweet spot. Moderately sharp forebody bevels work in conjunction with the sweet spot to provide a smooth non-critical turn. A Texalium top provides strength and yes the ski is light. A
perfect blend of carbon graphite and fiberglass gives you light weight and durability that will outlast any carbon ski on the market. The F1 is what Natalie Hamrick used to run 39 off making her the 2nd women in the
history of the spot to do so. It is also the ski Jamie Beauchesne and Terry Winter have been killing it on every tournament they attend. Anything less than a few at 51 off is a bad set for them on the F1. Known for
being very fast, smooth and a failure rate of zero percent with a lifetime warranty. Nobody else can offer that...nobody.
Consistency, quality, tournament wins, flat our performance around
every buoy. The F1 has done it all the last few years, catapulted to success by Jamie Beauchesne and Natalie Hamrick. Two completely opposite slalom styles both dominating the tournament scene on the same ski. Best
part is you can walk into your local Connelly dealer and buy the same ski the pros use, because they ski on box stock skis. For '06 we made some refinements in the flex making the ski ever so slightly softer.
This allows the ski to set in the turn better at 34mph without hurting the unbelievable performance we already own at 36mph. We also increased the rocker a touch, .04" to be precise. This makes the ski carve
smoother through the turn. Those touches were ultra fine tuning on a ski that is already perfect with its long flat under the front boot for a large sweet spot. The combination produces consistent turns and better
acceleration. Moderately sharp forebody bevels for great stability and no "hunting" on set up. The bevel also provides a good platform for tracking through the turns. A Texalium top provides strength and
light weight as the F1 keeps charging on all the way to the top spot on the podium. New York, Russia, Australia or wherever the best of the best are skiing the F1 will be present.
