2011 Z7 ST Slalom Water Ski

For the 2010 tournament season the Z7 has been improved. With positive design feedback from our D3 team skiers and an ever-present, burning desire to build the finest ski on the water the new Z7 ST was born. One of the great things about being a small company is not being tied to traditional model year and marketing schedule constraints. When new slalom technology is discovered we can immediately deliver it to the marketplace. With this quick-strike design commitment in mind all new hard–tooling molds were manufactured for the new Z7 ST putting our best ski in your hands today!
The ST continues to expand upon the successful, innovative design features of the Z7.
With months of intense testing and feedback six important improvements were engineered into the new ST.

2011 Z7 ST Diamond Slalom Water Ski

When new slalom technology is discovered we can immediately deliver it to the marketplace. D3 has developed technology based on the biomechanical differences between men and women. The new Z7 ST Diamond features the following changes to improve the performance for lighter weight skiers.

2011 Fusion Slalom Water Ski

D3 features two different skis to accomplish the common goal of more buoys. They are the Z7 and the X7.  I have been telling folks the X7 is “less effort” to ride when compared to the original D3 Custom or the X5 but still maintains the great D3 turns. I typically follow that up with the fact that the Z7 takes that reduction in effort to a whole new level.  The Z7 rides much higher in the water. This gives the Z7 a quicker feel thru the turn and across the course but to achieve this speed there is always some sacrifice in stability. The X7 is more stable and the Z7 is faster.

2011 Fusion GS Slalom Water Ski

The FUSION GS is for competition skiers who prefer a faster feeling ski. The magic of the FUSION is it retains the traditional “D3” feel in the turns and is the most stable “fast” ski on the market today. Overall this is a true FUSION between the X7 and the Z7.
