A sand bag anchor is for anchoring a PWC, light personal watercraft, jetski, sea doo, in shallow water. Fill this super durable tri-laminate anchor bag with up to 35 pounds of rocks or sand. A buoy marks the anchor’s location. When done, empty the bag and store it in a small compartment of your jet ski.
Customers have found the sand bag anchor useful in an emergency and an essential item for any river, camping, or boating trip. This sand bag can be used in the center structure of your camping tent to strengthen the structure on a stormy day. Another use may be to keep your inflatable boating tubes and inflatable toys in one place on the beach and to keep them from blowing away or floating away. We even heard of a photographer using this as a sand bag anchor to steady a tripod on a windy day.
Works well in still lakes. (Not recommended for rivers that have a strong current.) An alternate use for this sand bag is to tie up your bow line on a sandy beach when your boat or jet ski is anchored offshore with an anchor buddy. This saves you from buying a stake anchor and saves a lot of space in your watercraft. A sand bag anchor when empty is a lot smaller and more convenient to store than a sand stake anchor.
